The Pet Pantry is known for it’s high quality foods and treats. We have a new “Cookie Bar” where customers can help themselves to any of our home made cookies. Our cookies are made locally to our exact specifications. Each cookie has been refined for maximum enjoyment while remaining healthy for your dog. Being dog lovers and dog owners ourselves, our dogs helped by taste testing each cookie to make sure we got it right.
Of course we are not content to sit on our laurels, so we are always on the lookout for great products that we can be proud to offer. Recently we were offered a product that a very good friend and respected businessman makes. Paul Gallant, of Paul’s Custom Pet food, started making his own custom formulated pet food after his own dog, Hunter, was diagnosed with cancer. Working with his veterinarian, Paul formulated his own food for Hunter and that, along with his vet’s Holistic approach to medicine, turned out to be the best approach. We are especially proud that during this time Paul also purchased Orijen Adult dry food and Merrick can foods from us at The Pet Pantry to supplement his homemade diet. Hunter’s cancer went into remission. That was four years ago. He is still cancer free.
After moving away from Exeter and because of Hunter’s miraculous recovery, Paul used his amassed knowledge of the canine dietary needs and began making and selling customized food for other dogs. He creates handmade, gently cooked prepared food, organic cookies, and customized meals to meet the unique dietary needs of your pet. He uses only real food with ingredients that are organic and free of genetic engineering, synthetic chemicals, growth hormones, unnecessary antibiotics, preservatives, and fillers. And he makes every effort to purchase from local farmers and businesses.
